Did you know?

Did you know that if the Cascade Construction Bond passes on May 19, we are already approved to receive an additional $10 million from a state grant?

Passing this bond would bring $40 million for updates, renovations, and repairs in all our schools, all while maintaining the current tax rate.

Pie chart showing funding sources for the 2026 Cascade School Bond: $30 Million (75%) from Local Bond Funds and $10 Million (25%) from State Matching Grant Funds.

Colorful balloons float above the words 'THANK YOU' for Administrative Professionals' Day.

Wednesday was Administrative Professionals' Day

Across our district, in our school offices, we have people who do it all! Helping sick kids, answering phones, supporting teachers, getting principals to the right place...and all with kindness and a smile!

Thanks to our office staff, who are truly Administrative Professionals. We celebrate you everyday!

Career Fair

What an amazing day! Cascade High School hosted a Career Fair Wednesday, with more than 80 companies, trade schools, first responders, military representatives, and colleges came to show students what careers they can dream about pursuing.

With tons of hands on opportunities, including a simulator for driving cranes and forklifts, students loved trying things out. You can see more pictures on our Facebook page.

This has become such a great tradition at Cascade that not only did we host students from the high school and the Opportunity Center—nine other schools sent their students to be part of the day.

Thank you to all our staff and all the vendors who came and made a great day for students!

Passion Project at Aumsville Elementary

Mrs. Walling's 3rd grade class at Aumsville Elementary are all working on passion projects. Students research something they really love, write a report, develop slides for a presentation, and then will present to the class.

They are developing all kinds of important skills! But more than that, teachers have learned that developing passions is a key part of developing grit. We all stick with things that we love! It's all part of #everydaylearning at Cascade.

High School Students Make Sign

We love how we can support our community and how our community supports us!

Today the City of Turner, Oregon picked up a "Turner Welcomes You" sign that was created by the students in John Iverson's class at Cascade High School! Many students over a couple of years have worked on this project, which a generous donor from Turner paid for.

Be watching for when this gets installed in Turner!

Support the High School Band

Our Cascade High School band is performing great this year! You can support them in a couple of ways.

The band is selling popcorn, snacks, and coffee again!

Check out their online store at the link below.
Also, the band is now able to accept donations with minimal fees. Unlike other online fundraisers, we keep 100% of the donations and the processor asks for a small optional fee!

Cascade Adult Transition Program's 'Fill the Bus' Bottle & Can Drive on April 23.

Bottle Drive for Adult Transition Program

Here's a simple way you can support our Cascade Adult Transition Program!

Bring your bottles and cans to the Cascade Opportunity Center on April 23, and those bottle deposits will help our students with job internships, field trips, and skills training. Or, call 503-749-8020 x7011 to arrange a pick up.

Thanks for your support!

Have a great weekend, Cascade!
