Earlier today, the District was made aware—through a Statesman Journal article—of a lawsuit that has been filed against the District. At this time, we have not received official notification or documentation, and therefore do not yet know the specific details of the allegations.

Because this involves pending litigation, the District is legally unable to comment on the matter. What we can reaffirm, however, is our unwavering commitment to student safety.
