After years of consistently high graduation rates, Cascade High School’s class of 2023 has proven the best ever! 95.0% of students earned their high school diploma in four years, a truly remarkable number that is in the top 10% in the state, and far exceeds the state average of 81.3%. The commitment of our staff and students to academic excellence is evident in these results.
“Cascade High School's high graduation rate is a testament to the excellence and dedication of our staff, and the hard work and resiliency of our students,” said Principal Pete Rasmussen.
Our Special Education staff has once again achieved amazing results with our students with disabilities. 88.9% of our SPED students in the class of 2023 earned their diploma, even better than last year’s incredible 85.7%. Five years ago, the graduation rate for students with disabilities at Cascade High School was 68.8%. With that remarkable improvement, our programs in Special Education have brought a graduation rate for these students that is more than 20 percentage points higher than the state average of 68.6%.
“We will continue to work hard for every single student in our Cascade Schools,” said Superintendent Darin Drill. “I’m proud of our staff, and we count it a privilege to serve the families of Cascade.”
